How to measure your jewelry size?
After clicking, scrolling, zooming, and finally finding the rare gem on our site (you know, that piece of jewelry that literally caught your eye), there is one crucial step left before placing your order: choosing the right size.
Yes, one of the biggest disadvantages of online shopping...
How can I be sure it will fit me... without being able to try it on?!
Don't worry, at ZAG Bijoux, we won't leave you alone. Here is our guide to help you order with confidence, without any unpleasant surprises upon arrival.
For your jewelry to be comfortable and well-fitted, it is essential to know your size. We will explain simply and quickly how to measure your finger circumference (for rings) and your wrist circumference (for bracelets and bangles).
To measure your ring size:
Take a thin wire or ribbon (such as sewing thread or a strip of paper).
Wrap it around your finger where the ring will be worn. Be careful not to tighten too much.
Make a mark where the wire crosses.
Place the wire flat against a ruler and note the length in millimeters: this is the circumference of your finger.
Refer to our size guide to know the corresponding ring size.
💡 SIf your finger is between two sizes, choose the larger size for more comfort; fingers can swell due to temperature.
To measure your bracelet size:
Use the same principle: wrap a wire around your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet.
Mark the junction, then measure the length with a ruler.
You can add 1 to 2 cm so that the bracelet is neither too tight nor too loose during your movements. A moving wrist has a circumference that varies.
For rigid bangle bracelets:
Bangles do not always have a clasp; in these cases, they must be able to pass over the hand.
Wrap a wire around the widest part of your palm (usually the knuckles).
Make a mark at the junction of the wire and measure this length: this is the minimum circumference the bangle must have to pass over.
Make sure to check this measurement with our size indications on the bangle product page.
💡A bangle that is too small will not pass over your hand, even if your wrist is thin.
