How to care for your stainless steel jewelry, step by step
The quality and durability of our jewelry are major strengths of our brand: 316L stainless steel is a hypoallergenic metal and very resistant, especially underwater. However, jewelry care should not be neglected and should be considered from time to time. Here are our tips to keep your jewelry shining:
- Our jewelry can be worn in water (in the shower, at the sea, and in the pool) but rinse them with clear water after each exposure: this will clean off limescale, chlorine, and salt, for example
- If you wear your jewelry every day of the year, the material may degrade due to friction against skin, surfaces, or clothing. It is then better to let your jewelry rest from time to time
- When not wearing them, store your jewelry in their pouch or box, away from sunlight – for necklaces and bracelets, fasten them and let the clasp stick out of the pouch so they don’t tangle
- For earrings, we recommend storing them carefully so they don’t rub against each other
- Our jewelry is durable but we still advise against exposing them to cosmetic products (perfumes, creams) and household products (bleach, dish soap) as this could damage the material, especially our natural stone jewelry
- To restore their shine, you can clean them with a soft cloth or a chamois, a perfect fabric for this purpose
By caring for them properly, your jewelry will accompany you for the longest time!
